Personal Profile
罗敏敏博士1973年出生于中国江西,1995年毕业于北京大学,2000年获美国宾夕法尼亚大学神经科学博士。现为北京脑科学与类脑研究中心资深研究员、联合主任,同时担任北京生命科学研究所资深研究员、清华大学教授。
自2004年以来,罗敏敏博士主要致力探索感觉信号及奖惩信号处理的神经机制及相关环路与人类精神疾病的关系研究。在过去的十几年中,罗敏敏博士领导的研究团队以转基因动物为模型,采用电生理、光遗传学、行为分析、光学成像、电子电路及分子遗传学等多学科手段,集中探索感觉和奖惩信号处理的神经机制及相关环路与人类精神疾病的关系,特别是在中缝背核五羟色胺神经系统和内侧缰核—脚间核胆碱能神经投射的电生理和行为机制的研究上取得了一系列国际同行公认的创新性成果:发现了中缝背核五羟色胺神经元编码奖赏并提出此类神经元编码环境有益性的理论,发现了内侧缰核、脚间核、下丘脑侧核及中脑多巴胺系统在奖惩行为中的作用,同时在对一些人类重要精神疾病的遗传学研究、药物靶点的确认、和小分子化学药物的寻找等方面取得了初步成绩,在精神疾病的治疗和药物开发上具有可观的应用前景。以通讯作者发表包括Science (3篇)、Cell(1篇)、Neuron(11篇)、Nature Methods(2篇)、Journal of Neuroscience(8篇)、PNAS (2篇)等一流期刊发表论文70多篇,总被引5000多次。
